von vs Binton B. Both teams had six shooters and included an A N Other score of 28 in their final total. There were a couple of loose threes on both sides but Avon managed to hit more bulls and came out winners with 215 points. Top scores included Avon’s Karl and Alison McMillan with 33 and for Binton Joe Powell and Steve Hodges who shot 32s.

 

Binton A vs Avenue. Binton got off to an excellent start with 34s from Chris Reed and Andy Smith. Hitting only bulls and fours they left Avenue’s six shooters an impossible job. With another 34 from Will Cemis Binton easily won the match with 227 points. Avenue’s James Wilby shot 34 and Steve Everett got a season best of 32.

 

Clifford vs Wilmcote. Clifford shot well on own target scoring five more than their home average. Trevor Morris scoring 33 was their best shot on the night. However Wilmcote maintained their very successful season with two possibles from Jamie and Adam Clarke and 34 from Lester Langford for a convincing win with 235 points.

 

MEB vs Home Guard. The home team, did the best they could with less than a full team but never had a chance against the Home Guard. Derek Powers was the only shooter who stayed out of the threes for 31. In contrast Tom Morris and Alan Brookes both shot 34s and Andy Morris 33 to give the visitors a solid win with 219 points.
