League Week 9

he two teams based at Avenue Sports and Social Club met last week but still struggling to find shooters, Avenue A had to forfeit the match despite the fact that Steve Everett shot a season best of 33, Jamie Clarke a respectable 31 and Paul Seabury and Dee Green both shooting 30, as they had only four players. New shooters are urgently needed and should contact Dee Green on 01789 772842. The second team fielded eight shooters. Mark Taplin shot 31 with an unfortunate loose three with his final pellet and Joshua Bridge 30. Richard Mills stayed out of the threes for 29. Jackie Mills shot two bulls also for 29. The other shooters, three of whom are shooting in their first season had too many loose shots for high scores.
