Avon Challenge Report - 30th October 2006

Monday 30 October saw the first leg of the Avon Challenge against Evesham. Shooting over 7 yards instead of our usual 6.

Representing Stratford, Colin Fulford (HG) 31: Simon Dale (Binton) 33: Ray Warnock (MEB) 31: Alan Brookes (Wilmcote) 29: Michele Dale (Binton) 30: Andy Morris (Wilmcote) 31: Gareth Morris (Wilmcote) 31 and Tom Morris (Wilmcote) 32 giving the team a total of 248pts. The Evesham team obviously much more at home with the longer distance, by and large bettered the Stratford scores by 1 point for each shooter. R Pitcher and D Staniforth each shot 33, three team members shot 32 , two others shot 31 and one shot 30 to give the team 254pts and a victory by 6 pts.

The second round of the Whitbread Individual Competition will take place on Tuesday 14 November.
