Snap Shoot Report, 28th November 2006.

The Snap Shoot competition took place at Binton on Tuesday 28 November. The turnout was very disappointing with only 8 shooters willing to have a go. Gareth Morris, Andy Morris, Alan Brookes (all from Wilmcote), Simon Dale, Michelle Dale and Andrew Smith (all from Binton), Guy Ganderton from Avenue Sports & Social and Roy Clarke from Binton B.

Each shooter had as many goes as they wished to gain the qualifying score, 22 or higher from 5 shots within 1 minute. Qualifying shooters then shot against each other for the highest score from 5 shots to be fired within 1 minute. Andy Morris set the pace with a score of 23.1. Gareth Morris earnestly defending his title only missed one bull to score 24.1. Alan Brookes shot 22. Simon Dale shot 20 as did Andrew Smith.

Gareth won the competition with his father, Andy Morris runner up, for the second year in succession. The evening was fast and fun but lacked entrants, something which needs to improve for the remaining cups in the season.
