Matches shot on 28th September 2006.

Avenue Sports & Social Club (ASSC) were hosts to Binton, who must be favourites for this year's league title. The home team had problems finding the bull and never really looked like putting up much of a fight. Jo Everett managed 3 bulls but two stray 3's brought her score down to 29. In contrast, Binton's shooters did not seem to have the same problem and they found 26 bulls during the match. Binton's Simon Dale, Alan Dyer and Gary Hooper each shot 32pts and their team romped to victory 219 to 194pts.

In the Binton B (Mason's) vs RBL match, neither team could field a full side. Ben Chamberlain shot 31 for Binton B but Jan and John Dencer managed 32 pts each for RBL. Relying on A N Others to make up the numbers, the match was drawn 208 pts each.

Wilmcote were at home to Home Guard (HG). Andy Morris & Alan Brookes (Wilmcote) were shooters of the week with 33 pts each. The best HG could do was 30 pts from Richard and Jackie Mills.

Next week's fixtures are ASSC v Binton B (a change to the original fixture), Home Guard v MEB and Binton v Wilmcote. For more information, why not visit our new website www.sagl.co.uk or contact Roy Clarke on 01789 720340 or e-mail to roy@clarke720.freeserve.co.uk
