Wilmcote vs Avenue Sports & Social (ASSC) - Fran Westwood (ASSC) was first to shoot and got off to a fine start with 2 bulls and a 4, followed by 3 more bulls but she dropped a 3 with her final shot. Nevertheless, Fran shot a personal best of 32. Wilmcote continued to press league leaders Binton hard for pole position. Andy Morris shot 3 bulls but then dropped a 4 followed by 3 more bulls. Another score of 34 pts puts him second in the table of Individual League Averages behind Ray Warnock (MEB). Steve Everett (ASSC) shot a 4 but then found the bull on his next 4 consecutive shots but then he dropped two 4's to finish on 32pts. Alan Brookes (Wilmcote) was looking good for the first possible of the season with 5 bulls but sadly, he dropped two 4's to finish on 33pts. Wilmcote totaled another high score of 221 to win the match against ASSC 205.

Binton B (Mason's) vs Home Guard (HG) - Ben Chamberlain (Binton B) could also have been the first to get a possible this season but he too dropped a 4 along the way to end on 34pts. Team mate Jim Usher shot a solid 32 and Mike Perry 31. The Binton B team totaled 211pts. Home Guard shooters were consistent on the night with Derek Powers getting 33, three shooters scoring 31 and three others shooting 30. The team mustered 216 pts to give
them victory over Binton B.
