Matches shot on 25th January 2007.

Wilmcote were at home to Binton B last week. Jim Usher started for Binton B with a good 32pts and was followed by Andy Morris who shot yet another 34pts. Andy looked good for a possible with his first 6 pellets scoring bulls but it was his last shot which failed to ring the bell. Andy has only just missed out on a possible in every one of his matches since the new year. Rob Johnson (Binton B) managed 2 bulls to shoot 30 and Gordon O'nions shot 1 to give him 29pts. With no 3's on the
target, Wilmcote kept clawing back at the 15pt handicap they had to give the visitors. Gareth Morris (Wilmcote) shot 32 and John Maycock and Tom Morris shot 31. Both teams had to rely on the A.N. Other score of 28 to make up a full team. Wilmcote finished on 216pts and Binton B on 213pts. Wilmcote are now second in the Webley Shield League Table.

MEB shot against Binton's A team at Stratford Football Club. Binton just didn't seem to have their minds on the job at the start of this match and the team fell 7pts behind after Paul Clingan and Ray Warnock both shot 33 for MEB. Simon Dale (Binton) was matched by Kath Williams (MEB) then Gary Hooper (Binton) with 32pts, managed to pull 2 back from Sheila Clarke (MEB). Michelle Dale (Binton) was top shot with 34pts. She and team mate Andy Smith who shot 32pts pulled back 6pts between them. MEB scored 215pts considerably better than their league average and Binton 218 but with the Binton having to give MEB 16pts it was MEB who took the match and stay top of the Webley Shield Table.

Avenue Sports & Social Club (ASSC) met RBL and a close match followed. ASSC edged to the fore as Fran Westwood took 4pts from Bob Marshall when she scored 32pts. Lloyd Dencer pulled back 2pts for RBL with his score of 32pts leaving ASSC just 3 pts in front. Jan Dencer (RBL) shot 30 then team mate Steve Ray (RBL) looked good for a possible with 6 bulls but a slight mark on the target with his 7th shot gave him 34pts which left ASSC trailing by 7pts. Dee Green shot 30, pulling back 2pts. RBL with just 26pts for A N Other finished on 208. ASSC totalled 205 but with the addition of 6 pts from RBL managed to take the match with 211pts.
