Matches shot on 21st September 2006.
There was some fine shooting at Binton last
Thursday when the Club were at home to RBL. Gary Hooper, (Binton) was the
highest scoring shooter in the match with 33pts but he was well supported by
team members Simon & 'Chelle Dale and Alan Dyer who each shot 31pts. RBL. showed
solidarity with Bob Marshall and brothers John & Lloyd Dencer each shooting
32pts. Binton got a well deserved win 213 to 208pts. Surely they are early
favourites for this year's league cup challenge.
Home Guard (HG) were at home to Avenue Sports & Social Club (ASSC) and neither
team shot as well as last week. Richard Mills and Bill Gateley (HG) got off to a
good start with 32 and 30pts respectively but ASSC could not find the bulls and
were trailing throughout the match. ASSC managed to pull back a couple of points
when Jon Packard shot 32 but it was not enough and they lost the match 192 to
196pts.
The results from the MEB vs Wilmcote match are not available at the moment.
Mason's Arms have had to find a new venue this season. They will be shooting
from Binton Club and changing their name to Binton B (Masons). This has
necessitated a few changes to the fixture list. Please note that tonight (28
Sept) Binton B (Masons) are playing at Binton against RBL and next week (5 Oct)
ASSC will be at home to Binton B (Masons). Check the website for details of
other changes.
