Matches shot on 8th February 2007.
Due to bad weather conditions last week the
matches between MEB & RBL and Binton B & Home Guard were postponed. Avenue
Sports & Social Club shooters struggled through the snow to meet current Webley
League leaders, Wilmcote. ASSC's performance lacked lustre with only Jon Packard
shooting over 30pts. Wilmcote on the other hand maintained their high scores
with all three members of the Morris family shooting 33pts, John Maycock and
Alan Brookes shooting 32pts. Wilmcote gave ASSC 18pts but it was not enough and
the visitors lost 212pts to 223pts.
Wilmcote remain top of the Webley League with 9pts from all 6 matches. MEB are
in second place with 8pts from 4 matches and Home Guard third place with 5pts
also from 4 matches.

A reminder for the Norman Dale Cup which will be held on 1 March at Home Guard
Club Tiddington. This is open to 35 shooters all of whom have an average of 30
or less from at least 2 league games this season. Team captains have been sent a
list of qualifying shooters. It would be nice to get a good turnout this year
and remember you have to be in it to win it. See you there.
Wilmcote Club have practice shooting nights on Sundays and Mondays at about
7.30pm. Whether you have shot before or not, if you would like to go along
please phone Andy Morris on 07900303055 or Lynda Brookes on 01789 267787
