There was some excellent shooting this week in the Binton v Wilmcote match which was held at Binton Club. Michele Dale (Binton) Andy Morris (Wilmcote) & John Maycock, a new shooter for Wilmcote, all came close to getting the first possible of the season but they just missed out to score 34 each. Binton's team shot all 4's and 5's to end the night with an impressive 227 pts. Wilmcote shot 3 stray 3's but ended up on 220pts - still a score to be proud of and one which would have won them any other match played on the same night.

MEB visited the Home Guard Club at Tiddington. Ray Warnock (MEB) just missed out on hitting 7 bulls to score 34pts. Sam Goodman & Colin Fulford (HG) together with Kath Williams (MEB) all shot a respectable 31pts. HG fielded another new shooter this season in Keith Downey. He started off well with 28pts. HG won the match 208 to 202pts.

Avenue Sports & Social Club (ASSC) were at home to Binton B (Mason's Arms). Jim Usher shooting in his second season for Binton B started the night off with 30pts and was followed by Mike Perry who also shot 30. ASSC were trailing until Jon Packard and Paul Nixon Barron (ASSC) each shot 30pts. Both teams had their share of 3's which meant a relatively low scoring match which ended in a draw 196pts each.
